A look back at some of the highlights from the Monaco Yacht Show 2021.
A successful Monaco Yacht Show for SuperYachtsMonaco this year with 50m M/Y JOYME on display, a fabulous tender for our guests designed by Roberto Curto and our stand featuring artwork by Jason Brooks as well as a great array of yachts to view and preview for sale, new build and charter for our clients and team.
With nearly 3.6 billion euros worth of superyachts over 30m on display, 2021 was an excellent year for the show in terms of quality, design and an overall display of positivity and creativity in the yachting market. From ‘Boat of the Year’ ARTEFACT to the largest yacht in the show IJE, there were plenty of highlights.
JOYME – A bold Zepter yacht
JOYME, for sale with SuperYachtsMonaco, stood out from the crowd with her striking red hull and original design. Having been custom-designed by Philip Zepter Yachts in Croatia, JOYME has an interior design by Marjan Radovic from Standby Studio with white walls being paired with contemporary furnishings. She features vast outdoor living spaces with multiples lounge and dining areas which make her great for entertaining guests. She is currently for sale and is also available to purchase via bitcoin!

ARTEFACT – A chance to view the Motor Yacht of the Year
ARTEFACT, the 80m Nobiskrug delivered in 2020, was certainly the boat to go to with everyone wanting the chance to view the newly crowned boat of the year. The goal with the design of this yacht was to prove that ‘beautiful man-made objects can complement and celebrate the natural environment with minimal impact’ and her display at the show certainly proved her as a magnificent yacht. However, it is not just her exterior design that makes her stand out, the yacht also minimises emissions and the impact on the environment through the use of cutting-edge technology.
VIVA – The largest new build on the block
Beautifully designed by the Dutch shipyard Feadship and measuring an impressive 94 metres in length, M/Y VIVA was the largest new build at the show and made her debut to the public. It is clear that the yachting industry is moving towards a more environmentally friendly model with many of the yachts, such as VIVA and ARTEFACT featuring new and state-of-the-art engineering and technology that makes the impact on the environment as minimal as possible. For example, the hull of VIVA has been ‘designed, engineered and built to be as efficient as possible and to reduce the engine power required to move through the water.’
