Delivered in 1968, 59m CAPELLA C is a prestigious explorer yacht built by Sheepswerf Gebr. Pot. Named after the brightest star in the constellation of Auriga, CAPELLA C was constructed as an auxiliary hydrographic vessel for the Royal Dutch Navy and was then used as a pilot vessel before being converted to a luxury expedition yacht in 1985.
The reinvention as an explorer yacht saw her retain her classic 60’s profile ensuring her history was not lost, and the introduction of several modern features in 2017 provides that she is capable of circumnavigating the world, whilst her guests are in complete comfort.
This embodiment of prestigious yachting has accommodation for up to 22 guests across 12 staterooms and boasts a plethora of onboard leisures including a full-beam master suite, and a full-size helicopter deck, in addition to a resign of her exterior deck allowing her to quarry two 8-meter tenders.
