The SuperYachtsMonaco Sales team is delighted to announce the sale of SO’MAR built by Turkish yard Tansu Yachts, with SYM representing the Buyer and Ahoy Club representing the Seller.

SO’MAR (which means “only sea” in Portuguese) was delivered in 2014, winning the 2015 Neptune Trophy at the renowned World Superyacht Awards. SO’MAR beautifully reflects the high-quality designs of Tansu vessels, built in epoxied wood to comply with RINA standards. The design expertly blends a military/explorer-inspired exterior with a modern and elegant interior resulting in pure sophistication and style.

Spacious and open, SO’MAR can accommodate up to 9 guests across 4 comfortable yet chic cabins. Her master suite is located aft on the upper deck, a usual feature of a yacht this size. Using stunning large doors that open onto the deck, the Owner can enjoy complete privacy with the view remaining the centre of attention. The remaining guest staterooms comprise of a VIP suite with a daybed and two twins.

SO’MAR’s contemporary minimalist exterior design makes great use of the deck area providing plenty of space for alfresco dining as well as the perfect place to sit back and relax. Designed to mirror a beach house, the exterior takes the focus becoming the main space for socializing with lots of friends.

In terms of performance, she is powered by 2 Caterpillar Inc engines, which give her a cruising speed of 13 knots and a top speed of 15 knots with a range of up to 3,271 nautical miles from her 22,400 litre fuel tanks at 10 knots.
