Superyacht Times report on the 140 meters plus Lürssen superyacht, REDWOOD, moving into its final construction shed as the German builder prepares for the vessel’s delivery in 2020
The project, also known as Project OPUS, also became the first vessel to enter Lürssen’s newly upgraded floating shed at its facility in Vegesack.
Due for completion in 2020, REDWOOD is the design work of Nuvolari Lenard who is working with owner’s representatives on the project. An interesting bow configuration is clearly visible in these images which will no doubt make for an exciting unveiling when she is launched later this year.
Just some of the exterior features will include two helicopter landing pads, a large sports and diving center on the lower deck as well as an oversized, partially covered swimming pool. The project is currently under construction at Lürssen’s shipyard in Bremen according to the Passenger Yacht Code.
