Designed by the legendary naval architect Espen Øino, STELLA MARIS is one of the most well-known yachts on the water to this day and is now exclusively for sale with SuperYachtsMonaco! With a striking and imposing profile and an impressive volume, this state-of-the-art superyacht is in incredible condition. As one of the largest custom superyachts in the world at 72.1m and 2,114 gross tonnes, she also features evolutionary systems that are one of a kind.
With a beautiful blend of the expertise of Espen Øino and skills of the Laurent Giles Naval Architects, VSY have produced an exclusive project with staggered internal decks, high saloons and an innovative form in the shape of the bow. She is also one of few yachts of her size to have a fully certified helipad.
STELLA MARIS has only had one owner since new and has never chartered. With full floor-to-ceiling windows and 2.70m deck head heights, the interior space is flooded with natural light and brings the outside inside. With the increased heights of the deck heads, this further enhances the feeling of serenity and space on board.
The philosophy behind this yacht was to maximise the pleasure of life on board in all seasons of the year and that is clear throughout. The interior design is the work of Michela Reverberi who has created an impeccably refined and elegant interior. Thanks to the combination of skill of Reverberi and VSY, the yacht has the incredible appearance of a villa on the water whilst maintaining a strong link to nature. This is especially evident in her use of natural stones, high quality fabrics and rare woods and the impressive feature of the living garden on board.
There is accommodation for up to 14 guests in 7 guest cabins, with an Owner’s Suite and 6 further guest cabins where extended friends and family are treated to an extreme sense of luxury. The Owner’s Suite has its own dedicated deck with everything you would need, including a lobby with an office/day room, a central dressing room, two stylish Brazilian blue marble bathrooms, sleeping area with semicircular floor-to-ceiling windows and a private deck space. Every ounce of care has been put into this design, to the point that the entrance to the Owner’s Suite features a silently operated panel door to minimise any disturbance.
Exterior space is also an incredible selling point for this innovative yacht. There is a certified helideck, built in full respect of the restrictions posed by the competent authorities, allowing access to every part of the world, whether that be for heliskiing or luscious beach exploration. This was carefully thought out in the design to ensure that guests could reach the yacht as fast as possible.
The sundeck can also be transformed into a unique and ideal party space with a capacity for up to 100 guests. It also features twin spa pools, sun-lounging spaces and a more secluded seating area further forward
To make life on board more simple and comfortable, much consideration has gone into the design of the beach club to provide as much space as possible. This beach club is able to house two tenders, a 820 LIMOUSINE 8.25m and a 820 OPEN 8.25m which help to make the ocean the ultimate playground. A pantry/bar and powder room, luxuriously finished natural teak and varnished wood, nightlights and safety devices are all features of this extensive beach club making life on board that much easier.
As seen above, the side garage doors open out to serve as beaches which remain horizontal at all times despite waves or rolling thanks to the introduction of a sophisticated balancing system.
Relaxation is also at the heart of this extensive yacht. Guests can treat themselves in the Massage and Health Spa which includes a sauna and hammam, and for those who love to keep active, there is also an on board gym. The beach club can also double as an extensive space where guests can enjoy sunrise yoga or alternatively, it can serve as another entertaining area.
Part of the revolutionary features of this yacht are the ‘Green Features’ to ensure that the impact on the environment is kept to a minimum. Some of these systems include a double biodisc, heat recovery from the generator discharge, green anchoring and particle filters and a Tetravalent catalyst for diesel generators. This consideration puts this yacht miles above the rest in her revolutionary and iconic features.
