Who says you can't get exactly what you're after when on the hunt in a seller's market? Yes, the competition may rear its head a little higher, but with the appropriate insight and level guidance from your broker, finding your perfect yacht is effortless. Read on to view, in our opinion, the best 50-70m superyachts currently for sale under €30,000,000.
As the global economy and current consumer confidence recover in the wake of 2020, superyacht brokerage sales, particularly in certain sought-after brackets, have continued to persist, arguably even flourish. At the end of April 2021, yacht sales were up a record-breaking 62% (as found by Superyachttimes IQ). This notable growth is predicted to continue into the second half of 2021 and likely beyond. This year alone, superyacht sales in the 50-70m range have almost doubled: 10 sales in Q1 2020 versus an astonishing 19 sales in Q1 2021.
As a result, we find ourselves in a shallow market pool of only a limited number of 50-70m yachts available this year. Following a spike in travel frustrations, a strong desire to escape the pandemic, an increase in first-time buyers, and a move towards larger vessels to accommodate these phenomena, there’s little left on the open market to purchase. The reason why the ~60m industry has been affected to this extent is that buyers are now of the mind that “tomorrow isn’t guaranteed,” so they are looking for ample space at sea to escape from Covid-19 for as long as they wish without overburdening themselves with the running costs associated with owning a 70m+. Superyachts in this bracket also benefit from being just the right size to give owners a choice of marinas to dock in and come at a reasonable price that ensures you get the most bang for your buck.
The strong seller’s market we have been in for at least the past year may well continue as we see some owners holding on to their yachts for longer than usual and the demand continuing to increase for larger yachts, but, in our opinion, just because they are few and far between doesn’t mean that there aren’t some golden opportunities out there. Here are our top 5 superyachts for sale under €30,000,000 in the 55-65m range:
Codecasa’s APOGEE (62.5m)
€16,762,471 (EST) | $24,950,000
As the longest in length on this list, it speaks volumes that APOGEE is, in fact, the best priced with respect to the price per gross ton, coming in at €18,000 per GT, whilst the rest stand at over €20,000. APOGEE is a magnificent vessel from the esteemed Italian shipyard Codecasa. Having had only one, highly attentive owner since new, APOGEE has been kept in meticulous condition and refreshed on an annual basis. The height of decadence, APOGEE boasts a sky lounge with one of the longest bars available on a yacht of her size; and an opulent mahogany interior that truly sets her apart from the rest.

€20,155,275 (EST) | $30,000,000 USD

With respect to efficiency, AQUARIUM’s cruise speed range stands at an awe-inspiring 7,000nm due to her 150,000-litre fuel tanks. Whilst AQUARIUM is ever so slightly higher on the cost end of our list, her sheer size ensures AQUARIUM is utterly spacious, accommodating up to 14 guests in 6 broad staterooms. The owner’s cabin alone features a privatised lounge, making use of the vessel’s full beam, leading onto a separate bedroom towards the front of AQUARIUM’s bow.

€19,950,000 (VAT Paid)
Brand new to the market in 2021, Amel’s 55m LA MASQUERADE is a phenomenal new pedigree option for those in search of a true global cruising vessel. LA MASQUERADE boasts an impressive 802 GT and has been built in such a way that she feels far larger than a 55m yacht when navigating her interior.
