With original plans drawn up by Swedish Count Lennart Berndotte in the 1960's, STELLA NOVA completed her maiden voyage in 1971. Spending the next 30 years serving as a floating summer residence for the Count along the coasts of Sweden, Denmark and Germany. A major renovation and overhaul was commissioned in 2003 and she was relaunched in 2006 with a full repaint, engine replacement, installation of new electrics, pipes and brand new interior. Her refit was conducted by Pampas Marina, in collaboration with Nautor Swan, Retloffs Carpentry and Scania.

Capable of up to 18 knots top speed, STELLA NOVA comfortably cruises at 12 knots on her two Scania V8 (DI1643) engines, newly installed in 2006.
The guest cabin layout sleeps 10 guests in 5 classically styled cabins. The full beam master cabin has an ensuite bathroom with bath and the 4 twin bunk cabins share 2 bathrooms with showers.
With amble space for family and friends, STELLA NOVA's pragmatic and comfortable interior is ideal for carefree cruising.
In typical Swedish fashion, STELLA NOVA has a minimalist feel with plenty of wood on show and classic features such a sauna and quaint kitchen.
The cherry-wood wall finishing's and wooden paneled indoor flooring ensure an inviting vibe. Entering from the aft deck, one is greeted by a long dining table with booth seating and an open plan layout giving plenty of space and light and a view through to the bridge. The bridge itself is spacious and houses her superb, traditional large wooden steering wheel.
